NASHONNE IS THE ONLY ONE ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.
I am NaShonne Watson and I have 11 years of experience as a Master level clinician in the state of Pennsylvania. My education and training were completed at Temple University and Alvernia University. In my career, I have provided therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families through substance use treatment, forensics, early intervention, and those seeking permanent housing in community mental health. These settings have contributed to my development of proficiency in therapy for people with complex and intergenerational trauma. This includes a trauma history of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. In my trauma toolbox, I use an eclectic combination of dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Presently I am training in the evidence-based modalities of EMDR and Ecosystemic Functional Family therapy. My primary goal in treatment is to create a safe and comfortable environment in order for you to release inhibitions and become empowered to heal.
I am a Mastered Level Clinician with over 10 years of experience in providing support to adolescents, teenagers, young adults, parents, veterans, and seniors within a diversity amount of settings. Individuals facing difficulties connected to stress, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, stress management, grief/loss, relationships, parenting, or addiction, can benefit from therapy. My goal is to invest in client’s treatment, goals and development by providing a safe environment for clients to be heard and to grow.
I start by meeting clients where they are mentally, emotionally, and developmentally. I will work with the clients by identifying/solving problems, setting/achieving goals, and healing from past trauma, addiction, and other issues. I will provide support in processing feelings and emotions, developing coping tactics, and improving your emotional wellness.
Committed to creating a safe space telephonically and allowing access to therapy from the comfort of your own home. I look forward to assisting you on your journey towards growth and long-lasting change.

I am a National Board for Certified Counselor who is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. My area of expertise focuses on anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, body issues, low self-esteem, communication and conflict issues.
When therapy is in a trustworthy and safe environment, it can open so many opportunities for self-exploration. In therapy, your job is to tell your story wholeheartedly. My role as a therapist is to listen, help teach new skills, and challenge you to see new ways to live your life.
Working together, we can tap into your personal essence and unleash your potential.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Penn State University in 2015 and I began my Master’s in Counseling at Arcadia University in 2019. My concentration is trauma-focused therapy. I am currently in my third year, where my main focus is interning and providing evidence-based treatment to my clients. In my experience, I have worked with children, adjudicated adolescents, and young adults to navigate difficult transitions and address presenting issues. I also have experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) as well as individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. I believe everyone's process is different and support in that process can make a major difference.
I feel that each client, and their loved ones, face challenges unique to them therefore the process to cope and navigate adversity will be specific to them. I find joy in helping my clients with treatment that is tailored to their needs. I believe creating a strong therapeutic relationship is important to facilitate a safe and honest environment to process and explore your thoughts and feelings. I use multiple modalities to fit the demands of each client. My goal is to meet clients where they are and help them work through their personal journey.
“Breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment I know this is the only moment.”
