Meet the Staff

Gabriela Torres-Mendoza, M.A, LAC, CADC Virtual Psychotherapist

My name is Gabriela Torres, I am a bilingual English/Spanish) Licensed Associate Counselor and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the state of New Jersey with 8 years of experience in providing support to the BIPOC population including children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults within a diverse setting.  I obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree in Professional Counseling Psychology and Forensic Psychology. I  believe that good therapy should support you in living fully and deeply a life that connects to that which you value most. Suffering is both universal and unavoidable and can be made better or worse by the ways we respond to it. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life; as many of us struggle in life, and most of us don't know where to turn for help. However seeking treatment is the first step towards realizing and achieving change. When therapy is in a trustworthy and safe environment, it can open many opportunities for self-exploration.   In therapy, your job is to tell your story wholeheartedly. My role as a therapist is to listen, help teach new skills, and challenge you to see new ways to live your life. You already have all the answers inside of you, I am just here to help uncover them. As a trauma informed practitioner, I currently treat depression, anxiety, work/life balance, relationship stress, marital conflict, addiction, parenting, family conflict, eating disorders/body image, self-esteem and unresolved trauma by utilizing an evidence-based multidisciplinary approach; that are individually tailored to your specific needs, goals, and learning styles to provide you with perspective on difficult issues.

I am Jeremy Turner, a Masters Level Clinician with over 11 years of experience. My experience includes direct clinical services to adults, families, couples, children, and adolescents. Working together with clients to identify triggers, distorted thinking and unresolved life conflicts are some of the things we will explore to help increase self-awareness and support a more positive, healthier lifestyle.

As a therapist, I am committed to working with you on developing a plan that is tailored to your individual needs and circumstances.

Your story is your own, and you have the power to overcome obstacles and remove barriers that are preventing you from being the best version of yourself.
